Add Bunkley,Hawthorne though its going to cost us

One could say this was the most disappointing Saint season in history

I think offensively we need to blow up the interior line. They played awful for the entire year and will not get better, in addition their contracts are huge next year. I think a new C (we have him already) and 2 new Guards fixes the offense. Although Pete needs to be calling the plays.

The Defense needs a complete overhaul starting with the position coaches. We need to let Jordan walk and Bunkley go as well. We must draft a stud DT that can really push the pocket. It's as simple as getting more pressure from the front 4 which we couldn't do all season.

It will be a interesting few weeks coming up seeing who is being made the sacrificial lamb and who undeservedly keeps there job.

Aye, 24th in the class beats 26th, twice.

We, at least, have nothing to hide the terrible season that was.

Everyone will be looking at their jobs here, hopefully.

I couldn't have said it better

I think many of us (myself included) over estimated the talent on this team. We need play-makers on both sides of the ball. I didn't see a lot of fight this season. We appear to be porch poodles instead of vicious 'dawgs'.

There will be changes made.

the whole sports world got screwed by these saints. What in the world were they thinking. Not once did i punch there ticket to the superbowl like countless sportswriters. The game has to be won on the field not in some offices on the 123 rd floor. Did the 2014 saints team counting sean payton get freezebrain and content with all the hipe on how thw season would end. Maybe not. Maybe so.
The eagles had it sewed up a few years back also on paper and they had the same results as this team. Im still a huge saints fan and waiting again till next year to play the dam game on the field.

Watching Romo vs Colts. Guy is untouched on 95% of the pass plays. Damn.

Will Payton finally adress O-line problems in the offseason?

Are the Colts a play off caliber team? Wow, they look awful. But to your point, yes that Cow O line has been dominate pretty much all season long. Death star nation has what it takes in the trenches to make a strong SB push this year.

They did mention how that O/L took a few years of solid 1st/2d round draft choices to assemble ... pays dividends though, :).

Everybody talked smacked when they drafted a C in the first round. Look at them now.. Romo looking invicible, whereas Brees has to constantly run for his life.

 ... I know, I was like, "Daayyumm, maybe I've been too hard on Tony ... ", but then I shrugged it off and said, "Nah", :D.

Re: FailClowns @Saints Game Day Thread

Teams rush the middle of the Saints O-line so heavy because they know that Brees has problems when the pocket collapses. Pair that with Tackles that are only average so Brees would have to step up.. but nothing to step up.

Since they don`t Blitz and only send 4 they can take away the Screen game as well.

And we had a chance at OC Alex Mack in free agency, who signed for about 1/2 what Jairus Byrd signed for.

Can we get a do over?

Personally I think that Evans and Grubbs would have played better with a decent C manning the middle of the line. This has been the weak spot for quiet some time.

The tackles got some help from Graham and Sproles the last couple of years and that was when we were unpredictable. Now defenses just crash the middle and that`s it.

Agree about Mack
He can opt out after next year so we may get that chance again in 2016
