Re: Junior Gallete
first issue with the front 7
No Rotation to speak of. these guys are on the field way to much. second issue starting NT has been a void for years. thought we might have found something last year to work with but at this point not 1 impact starter in the bunch third issue overall talent of the LB in this system i rank as serviceable. topic of Jr? given the three statements above i can bring the hammer down on him. that contract is laughable and i still am amazed we did it. but his over all play? anchoring the edge D bull rushing F pass coverage D stunts C speed rush B Overall grade I He allows himself to be pushed out of plays way to often and teams us his speed rush against him and run plays underneath him all the time with basic delays. He has improved but as for a complete rush OLB in a 34 defense he should not be on the field as much as he is. I no way would i ever consider him a run defender at this point. pass down speed guy. but we do not have the depth to see truly what he can do. same can be said about the unit as a whole. way to much playing time Haralson is the best all around 3 down OLB we got hands down. I do not see anything on the bench to step in either to give him a rest. we need more LB like him and stop drafting pass rusher only types |

It's funny how Gallette went from fan favorite to twitter twit in one year.

We can sign all the FA shut-down corners in the league & draft all the shut-down corners out there, but if that Front 7 is weak, small, and/or tired, physical NFL teams will beat the hell out of us. |
