Cut whomever this year. Fix the cap for the future. Play some draft picks and some UDFA's. They can win six games and will be more fun to watch.

Don't know how he stays

That gives Hawthorne an average of 4.2 tackles per game and Humber an average of 3.8. Wow, so much difference - except one of these guys made 3.5 million this year and the other made 630K.

Since you like statistics so much, let's do a cost-benefit analysis.

Humber gets $21,724 for each tackle he makes

Hawthorne gets $74,469 for each tackle he makes....and is only marginally more productive.

You can figure it out for yourself from here, I am sure.

That's beyond sad, n both accounts, but for Hawthrone. Jesus christmas

Not really impressed with Humber. He gets pushed out of the way too easily and doesn't cover very well.

He's a decent back-up and hits hard for his size, but Hawthorne >> Humber IMO, and its not even close.

He can't cover worth a shoot, dude is slow. We have no LB's. Even Lofton, who is decent, is slow and can't cover. Restructure lofton, replace Hawthorne. Draft Lofton's replacement.

We really need to let go some of these high contracts or restructure them. There are guys earning money they have 0 business earning

You know you suck when David Hawthorne is better than you

Scott Shanle > David Hawthorne
Jo-lonn Dunbar and Vilma > Lofton.

I will give White and Humber a pass. Lorig should have never got a contract and Kenny has lost his mind. White needs to go back to the slot and as much as I have never been a Humber fan, he's not so bad in the 3-4 but is bad in a 4-3, unless Humber gets absolutely beat out I think he could play well enough in rotation.

I like the cost/benefit ratio. If they aren't earning their paycheck.........let them go!
