Why is Ryan Griffen active when SJB isn't..

3 QBs active on gameday? I get it if you plan to rest Brees at some point, which I hope they do but it seems like they are deliberately snubbing SJB. I suspect some internal strife between the coaching staff and the scouting department on this pick. So naturally we let him go next year and he becomes a star on another team.

Was that walker in pursuit? Solid speed.

Why is Jimmy playing? I guess Sean doesn't give a **** about Jimmy's "I'm playing hurt" story.

C. Daniels not looking too bad for the Chiefs. Not sure why we play Graham w/ the bum shoulder, seems pointless to me.

Walker. Very underrated. Should have seen more playing time this season.

Walker and Deaderick both look to be keepers...

With this pathetic O-line I would sit him. C'mon. Already some big hits.

Re: Saints @ Bucs Game Day Thread

The body slam was roughing which wasn't called... Even Mike Periera the head of officiating said so...

Jankman8 12-28-2014 12:35 PM

Re: Saints @ Bucs Game Day Thread

It`s not just the O-line, those WR get NO separation at all. The long pass to Toon was in the air a long time, the Falcon DB picked that off last week.

Maybe roughing - so what? Why Brees? I don`t care less about another 5000 yard season.

in years past - in this meaningless games I would find myself routing to lose for a better draft pic... but i just cant bring myself to do it... it sucked back then and it sucks now.

Because it shows how inconsistent penalties called are... One game, an officiating crew calls everything while in another game another crew let's them get away with damn near murder.

Re: Saints @ Bucs Game Day Thread

Fletcher tweeted this Ref Brad Allen hasn't called a roughing passer penalty all year. And I am ok with letting the Defense play. But here is the thing. Will our Defense take advantage of the loose calls and get some hits on their QB? I somehow doubt it.

I agree. Also that catch by Toon, it was offensive pass interference.

Oh, boy. That was too slow, Frederick.

I am not going to be upset with a Buc's victory. What I want is great effort by the Saints young guys but in the end a loss is better for us. Seems I am getting no effort by the Saints and a loss. For that I will be disappointed.

not surprised. Playing just as poorly with backups as starters.

Or conversely, they're playing no worse than the starters

What I`m completely missing are all those Seam routes that we used to run.

Meachem with best hands on the team. lol.

Almost a pick. Too bad we can't see Ryan in this game. Guessing he was called up way too late to be part of the plans today.

Why on God's green earth would Meachem be playing in this game.

Good question. Coleman? Sentavius?

We are good at RB even if Ingram leaves. This draft has some talent even in late rounds.

RB's are pretty easy to find nowadays

Even free agents are not getting paid much.

The only way we can stop them is if they tackle themselves. lol Sims run

Re: Saints @ Bucs Game Day Thread

Thinking back on the "Everyone Take a breath thread" from this week. I wondered if that OP was right. But now I am pretty convinced that we are possibly in worse shape than I thought. We have no heart or desire. Lacking in talent as well. We don't have a single playmaker anymore. Watching other games today I see Dez Bryan take a short pass to the house. Defensive stuffs and sacks even by the Bucs. Other playmakers will show up today. But we have none.

Re: Saints @ Bucs Game Day Thread

What are our players doing on the field? Bodies flying around but no wrap up tackling.. just horrible.

Bucs really don't want that number one pick.

this is the most gutless Saints team I can remember since late 2005. They have just given up.

Fans do, players don't. Fans aren't playing.

Sanford is the only one tackling.

Nothing that Ive heard come out of the locker room all year, in terms of interviews and tweets, suggests otherwise.

Talk too much and play too little.

Losing last week was the best hing that could happen. I dont like a lot of them. Kick em out and rebuild, imo.
