No way does that happen, that game determine the south,,,but if so would that be funny to the panthers make it to playoffs in that kind of situation

Wait if panthers go 5-8-2 and falcons go 6-9-1 do we get in over Carolina? That might be considered a tie though and division record is tiebreaker which Carolina wins because they would not have lost both times to Atlanta.

What about other teams. What are the rules for tiebrakers. H2H, Division record?

This win drops us at worst to 12th. That's if everything goes against us.

More likely this win dropped us about 2 or 3 spots.

I read a loss could mean as high as 8, and a win as low as 12th.

Not much difference.

Shaking my head at people whining about draft position.

Actually Carolina goes 6-8-2, so basically one win worse, one loss better so I think Carolina still wins.

The way team plot to step up ahead of every slot is just that important when considering top ten over twelfth pick. To trade in top ten you're looking at at the least getting a 1st and second rd pick but twelfth you might be looking at 1st and 3rd,,,, then you looking at value of the player at his position, the drop at corners linebacker or OL might drop significantly after the tenth pick

For people that are mad because we didn't pick Benjamin, watch the game vs Atlanta. No doubt he will have good moments. But just now he dropped easy TD.

Si far looks like Atlanta is losing and could pick before us

Have no fear

Me too. Any team that would purposely lose isn't worth being a fan of in the first place.

Yep. Well, looking at the positive,, that will be Colston last catch as a saint and jahri Evans is as good as gone too

Don't see how cutting Colston could be considered a bright spot.
Guy has one bad season and people want to jump on him like a pack of wolves.

Save Smitty? lol

He will be fired after this game.

That is why I am glad we did not finish 3rd place if this holds up.

I hope we don't sign Reggie Bush this offseason. Bell is much better player. Durability is a concern also. He is fragile.

Why would we sign someone we let go of years ago?

One more pick 6 for Ryan.

^But Reggie screwed up with us his last couple of seasons. He should only be back other than being a starter. He did well in Miami because he's been the bellcow and in Detroit last year because he had only one passing option to really contend with, but he did not really help them win more than 7 games.
