I was about to think the article was another bash the Defense only. I am glad that it transitioned into Drew's INT's and then discipline of the overall team being late for meetings, flights and finally a lack of cohesive party line communications that went awry. The entire organization lost focus. That I put on Payton first to fix.

No, but I seriously wouldn't mind Mike Smith as our Dcoord and even Tice as the oline coach.

And he will cut brees because people say he is getting old and we can bring Brooks back to run the offense.

I dont care what they do they just have to get rid of Corey White, i swear he is somehow to blame for the whole season.

As a defensive coordinator that would be amazing on paper. Payton and Saban would be quite the combo on offense and defense. One can only dream haha.

But mike smith had such a soft team in the falcons...i dont want someone who is the architect behind a team that had a softer defense than our own.

Soft? Every time I watched those A-holes I saw fire and passion from their defense. They may not have played well, but they flew all over the field like madmen.

I'd classify them as inefficient, but certainly not soft. The effort and passion was there, they just had a few too many holes.

While playing us maybe because that was their superbowl. Against other teams? Hell no they were soft and have been for a while.
