Read up on "Cluster B Personality Disorders". It reads like a handbook for my ex.

You're right, and yet that's just the problem, at least in most of my experiences with women. My ex was beyond irrational. I would spend a lot of time and effort giving what I thought were the most well thought out, philosophical and intellectual speeches to her to try to get through to her on things that she was just completely wrong about, and lacking of any morals, and she would just say "that's bulls***". It was hopeless.

But at least I can laugh at it now. No where to go but up after that.

The witnesses were four people OTHER THAN Gallette and included his girlfriend. Which bring another question to mind. Why are some of you implying that Junior had anything to do with the girl sexually when his girlfriend was there, as well? If anything at all, it had to do with his cousin or one of the other two people present.

You cannot effectively communicate with "Cluster B". It's a waste of time. It took me 14 years to figure that out.

First off there is not a requirement by police departments to make an arrest on a domestic with "little or no evidence".

That's illegal.

And if you guys have dumb enough cops in your portion of country that do that (not saying you don't), then they won't be cops for very long.

God, maybe I should just avoid these conversations. This is getting ridiculous. Like the guy who tells everyone he got pulled over for going 1 mph over the speed limit and got "screwed" by getting a DUI.

Look, I know there are some messed up cops out there. But they are rare. And just because you dealt with a piece of **** doesn't mean most of them are. The piece of **** you dealt with is the minority, not the majority.

Most officers do what we do to help and to take care of people. Most officers would take a bullet for you.

Don't believe it? Go for a ride-a-long one day.

I have a hard time believing the minority part. They seem to be killing all the minorities. Unarmed kids at that.

Yes sir. There most certainly ARE mandatory arrest laws in many states that dictate if the police arrive at a domestic violence call they MUST make an arrest. Look it up. In my case, "probable cause" was simply her version of events versus mine, and there is NO REASON the arresting officer should have believed me OR her other than he showed up to "save a ho".

And you can just better believe they're going to arrest the man 9 times out of 10.

I know it is difficult to believe such a law exists, because it's effing insane, but it does, and just you go and take a look at the rights that can be lost if a person is convicted, and then go find out just how easy these convictions are, and how DAs pressure people to plea out rather than go to trial by adding BS charges.

Dude I'm not trying to yang your chain. I believe people like you (most people are like you) just don't understand how effed up this domestic violence nonsense truly has become. Women's groups openly lobby politicians, police, Judges, DAs, and so on.

PM me if you're really interested in learning just how disgusting it is, because I honestly don't want to start anything with you, but it is clear you're in denial. I was too, to some degree, until it happened to me.

My ex and I lived together for 4 years, when I moved she was still finishing working on her degree so she remained where we previously lived. When I moved the lease was fully in my name. She came up to stay with me for the summer (she had family an hour away in both directions). When I finally got tired of her **** I kicked her out. While she was packing her stuff I sensed another long drawn out battle so I asked her to get enough for the night, leave, and while I was at work the next day to come back and get the rest. She had the key. What does she do? Calls the cops. When they got there what were they doing, trying to find something I had done wrong so they could arrest me. I was down stairs near them at the door, she was on the second deck so I raised my voice loud enough for her to hear and asked her to please hurry. They told me to stop yelling or they'd have to arrest me. They were itching for an excuse. Until men start forcing, like women do, politicians to cut the ****, this is going to continue.

The police are pressured to do it. There are some that are out to "save a ho", an expression you guys can tell I've come to love, but generally speaking they are pressured, and trained, to arrest the male as the view is he is the likely aggressor.

You know what's funny? In the states that have implemented these "Must arrest" laws, the homicides surrounding Domestic violence has come up markedly - as much as 30% in the last 25 years. It's a damn bad idea is what it is, but in 22 States it's the law.

Back on subject, it still amazes me that a team leader of a NFL defense has to sit on a woman.

Oh, would you please just STFU. Yeah, all the cops are evil monsters, and all the "unarmed kids" getting shot are just momma's little angels. What the **** ever. I've never had a cop take more than a second glance at me, you know why, because I've never given them a reason to.

I agree. Why are you guys arguing about someone that has the maturity of a 2 year old. Junior may or may not be guilty but he needs to grow up. The fact that he acted ugly with the cops is proof of that. Why misbehave when you haven't done anything.

Nope, not maturity.

At about 6pm EST or so yesterday I was looking at my twitter feed and noticed that Junya posted what appeared to be a 'screen shot' of a text message from some unknown person talking about how Junya had mistreated them and they had stood behind him for so long and now he acted as if they didn't exist......from the name it appeared to be a female that had sent the text. Immediately following that tweet he deleted it and said he did NOT tweet that last message and was hacked. Now he has shut down his account.

Get rid of him. Seriously, he has been going down a path ever since he received his pay day.

Really would like to take the cap hit and trade 'em for another draft pick for another linebacker for a friendlier cap number the next three, four years who'll be younger, faster, stronger, better and perhaps twitter-free...

We probably will not get a first for him. And given he's a saint, teams will make us sell low in an attempt to get us to cut him so they get him for free.

Re: Junior Galette Arrested

No way is the team cutting him,you will be paying him the same money either way so why pay to watch him play elsewhere.

he could be a great piece to push a package deal in the draft.
then again i always thought he was over rated. he like so many players are pretty much no shows against the elites of the nfl.

Charges dropped.

As someone who went through something VERY similar (false bullchit) I am extremely happy for him!

Junior Galette of New Orleans Saints has domestic violence charge dismissed - ESPN

Re: Junior Galette Arrested

I asked Tripplet about this last night, he said that Junior might still be suspended even with the dropped charges because the NFL will do their own investigated ..... translation, Goodell is an ******** and the Saints still need a new OLB/DE

Re: Junior Galette Arrested

I'd seriously seek trade partners for Galette...

Do a sign and trade to limit the cap hit going out the door...

If we're gonna get serious about a 3-4 defense, then let's get the personnel to do it...

Plus, I'm tired of Galette's one trick pony act...

RaginCajun83 02-20-2015 04:21 PM

Re: Junior Galette Arrested

I used to be one of Junior's biggest fans (when WSmith was holding him back) but I'm even getting tired of his antics on and off the field. IMO another example of getting paid and then just cashing checks

Junior made himself look a complete and utter @$$hole after the first game of the season.

When the falcons drafted their LT, Junior tweeted "there's my newest victim"

Week 1 - Junior got absolutely man handled, as all of our D did. He recorded no sacks and no pressures and didn't even get within 5 yards of matt Ryan.

what made that day even worse was that Jake Mathews got hurt and Junior was up against a backup and still couldn't do anything

I think the saints are letting him go. This must be why they are not extending Brees. And honestly you think Brees wants this on the team or Payton? We are about character right? You don't see it?

Cutting Junior saves a grand total of 750k. Making it post june saves a hyge 1.35ml. He is going nowhere

Re: Junior Galette Arrested

There are other methods...

A sign and trade deal to minimize the cap exposure this year (Saints exposed year) could work...

We'd probably have to take a discount on return value, say a sixth or seventh round pick...

But to free up space and get the twitter hole out of the locker room would be worth it...

Re: Junior Galette Arrested

If you are Galette would you agree to turn a trade away without getting that money that you are getting this year?
Its one thing agreeing to restructure your deal if you are staying another to help a team out thats looking to move you

More guaranteed money? On the back end?

Explain exactly how you can sign a player that's already under contract? The only thing that can be done is an extension. And that extension will have to have more guaranteed money to make sense to the player.
Also the upcoming $12.5 million roster bonus is guaranteed. It gets paid no matter what the team does. And if Junior is not on the team under any circumstance all the signing bonus money (including the roster bonuses) accelerates to the current cap year.

Face it. The Saints committed to Junior for 2 years. There's no way to get out of the second year of the contract cleanly.

SFIAH
