Re: PFF 2015 free agents
Free agency seems to be New Orleans Saints' best bet on fixing cornerback hole: Larry Holder | NOLA.com
Respectfully disagree with this strategy... Problem is the pass rush and the bigger problem is to fix the offensive line... Signing a Boling & Wisniewski combination to supplant the Grubbs and Goodwin failures must be the priority... Next is an OLB who can cover the flats, stop the run, AND make the pass rush from that side somewhat honest... Easier to make sure we come away with Boling AND Wisniewski so we have more options to draft; have some doubts about Hudson... I doubt Peters falls to us who I suspect got stuck in a bad situation with new coaches that didn't recruit nor would he have committed to play... But overpaying for second rate CBs with no fixes to the pass rush and... ...not allowing Dennis Allen an opportunity to coach up the horses we already have is a mistake... |
Re: PFF 2015 free agents
Veteran FA's for the O line.
Young, athletic guys for the defense. |
Re: PFF 2015 free agents
If I may humbly add "young" Veteran FA's for the O line.

Yep, youth matters. |
Re: PFF 2015 free agents
I'd like for us to bring Michael Sam for camp atleast. You don't become the SEC defensive player of the year without talent and both the Rams and Cowboys had more skill at the DE/OLB positions than us IMHO.

Re: PFF 2015 free agents
no way can we over looking the glaring hole at CB. no way. DL was an issue but CB was also an issue. CB is in far worse shape IMO. 1 cb and a bunch of FA projects and bums does not cover it
