I'll give you Byrd same as Vaccaro, "jury still out", since he ahd one god game then looked bad before he got hurt, but he has a history, although I didn't follow the Bills, so I don't know.

JG has 12 sacks and 10 sacks the last two seasons. Even if you concede he is just a sack specialist, they're pretty good numbers.

The problem is he got sacks in 8 games and 9 the year before. While the totals are OK they are not good enough for a man that does little else. He feasts on poor offensive lines
In the past two years he has played
Patriots,Eagles,Packers,Bengals,Steelers, and 2x Seahawks without a sack
He has 1 sack in 2 games with Cowboys and 49ers. He needs to step up in big games

judge against the elite units only. want a trip back to a super bowl those are the teams we must measure up to. door mats are just that. door mats and teams to pad your stats with.

He's supposed to have a senior defensive role and work with RR. Hopefully he can help out SJB.

Byrd was an all-pro that lead the team in tackles and turnovers before getting hurt, as a safety you should never lead the team in tackles.

Gallete was only behind JJ Watt for QB pressures, and was our best player by a mile according to PFF.

Ill say that Vaccaro is a bust at the safety spot but we have a diamond in Warren who in limited reps was the best graded Safety.

If Allen coached 3-4 I might agree be he coaches 4-3.
