Excited about Potential? Get excited about results? We wait for years on these projects full of potential. Get me some hustle, smart, hungry football players that can play now. To hell with this potential that sits on the inactive list.

Every player in NFL history was drafted based on their potential.

Speaking of SJB. This was his NFL draft profile "weaknesses"..

Maybe they (scouts) saw a year's worth of tape at Nebraska, liked his size/height/wingspan and assumed he would become the next Richard Sherman, no? What is most glaring to me was his "football aptitude". Not to knock the kid but he may be a very slow learner. Not what you want when you draft a guy that high.

I sure hope SJB gets it together in 2015 because this is shaping up to be a wasted 2nd rd pick.

See that's what's wrong with many of these 'scouts'...

They're no different than the talking heads...

Trying to put a player in a category like some taxonomist...

L@@K at the player...

How does he affect the game with the role he's assigned?!?

L@@K at his character, personal history, disposition...

Don't want a Richard Sherman nor a Deion Sanders...

Want a player who's got enough physical ability to compete, but the strength of character and depth of intelligence to be a winning teammate and complete warrior...

And if I take him in the first three rounds, he better not be a ****ing developmental project with potential but a FOOTBALL PLAYER ready to contribute...

Thinking more about it go for big school players or d2 ones. D2 ones are actually hungry because they didn't get to play for a top school.

like kenny it was a pick i understood why they made it. but yet another player that did not really fit the position they were drafted for.

my favorite catch phrase for the saints. too cute. just to dam cute for their own good.

c'mon you know my point. We draft way too many projects that never see the active roster. This is another one.
