Re: What would you be willing to pay Ingram?
Well keeping in mind that we need more help in other areas(LB, DT, OL, CB) & factoring in the tremendous depth at RB in this years draft, i gotta say 4yrs/$14M with a highside of 4/16. Very comaparable to Ben Tate's situation last year which landed him in that range. Health is the biggest factor.
I just cant see the Saints overpaying him though. Draft Options: 1. Todd Gurley - Georgia 2. Melvin Gordon - Wisconsin 3. Tevin Coleman - Indiana 4. Jay Ajayi - Boise St. 5. David Cobb - Minnesota 6. Ameer Abdullah - Nebraska 7. TJ Yeldon - Alabama 8. Duke Johnson - Miami 9. David Johnson - Northern Iowa 10. Cameron Artis-Payne - Auburn 11. Javorius "Buck" Allen - USC 12. Jeremy Langford - Michigan St. 13. Mike Davis - South Carolina 14. Dominique Brown - Louisville 15. Terrance Magee - LSU & So many others like Karlos williams & Matt Jones, etc. I'd really love to get David Johnson from Northern Iowa. Looked great in the Senior Bowl & resembles Leveon bell in appearance(6'1 225) & play style. Can do it all... Dont have to draft him high either, looks to be available somewhere in the 5th round with a highside of round 4. |

As long as we have Brees, we are not going to pay marquee prices for a RB |

Re: What would you be willing to pay Ingram?
The ball is firmly in teams court with RBs this year.
Murray Bere en Matthews Gore Spiller Ingram Moreno Helu Bradshaw Ridley Polk Rice McFadden Asiata Forsett Thats before the draft Then add Gurley Gordon Johnson Coleman Yeldon Abdullah Davis Ajayi Langford Robinson Johnson Now you have teams cutting players Peterson Lynch (especially after last night) Id like to see him stay but anything over 3.5ml is pushing it. 4ml on Ingram means 4ml that could go toward Wisniewski,Hudson,Worilds,Maxwell,Thurmond etc |

Re: What would you be willing to pay Ingram?
Vereen was my under the radar signing but after his perfomance in SB victory I think that price is just too much for us at this point. Dude was spectacular as receiver. Had one great one handed grab.
