UM, Ok read.
"Brees spoke to Sports Illustrated after the game about the "frustrating" 2014 season, where the Saints finished 7-9 and missed the playoffs. "It was my most frustrating season," the 36-year-old quarterback said. "You never want to go 7-9. It's no fun." Brees added that after meeting with coach Sean Payton and general manager Mickey Loomis he feels much more confident that next season will have a different outcome, with "a lot of work" of course." Perhaps the contract not allowing to keep our guards of Evans and Nicks intact?!?
Perhaps tying up too much money in bad contracts in Grubbs, Hawthorne, Lofton, Byrd and Galette?!? Perhaps those stellar moves in the draft these past five years?!? Perhaps failing to address coaching changes long past due?!? |

They have known what the problem is for some time during the season. They just didn't know how to fix it. |

This is the standard answer, what are they supposed to say? We have no clue how to fix it mail in the check for next season too
That said, I believe that things will be different next season and we will see more effort Hope |

I said from the start they rid the team of the leaders , it was gonna hurt, lack of concentration , consistently maintaining drives, brees to me just pregame rap needs to carry in games. swollen contract heads. some of the big time players need someone in their ears to preform, its always been known. why the head honchos didn't see it who knows but have to get it worked out.

It is really incredible how much more knowledgeable many of our forum members are than the so called professionals running the franchise. I totally respect the fact that they all have shunned surefire careers in Sports Management to work at their current jobs which have to be at a far more miniscule salary. Such amazing sacrifice.

Giant holes opened up on the D allowing Rb.'s to pound the rock at will, players running around with no clue who to cover, players constantly out of position, no tackling, and this is only a fraction of what the D did. On the O, pi$$ poor effert catching the ball, opposing D's man-handling the O like puppets on a string, pick 6's, int.'s. underthrows and I could go on. And all of this comes from just watchiing the games on T.V. but I do have eyes!! 7-9 pretty well sums it up, we were lucky to not lose more than that with this team.
