Re: Jimmy Graham says current plan is no shoulder surgery

Do you read, and do you comprehend what you read?!? R-E-S-T was prescribed; so, he had no business playing in the ProBowl... If my comment seems cynical, it is because it is founded in his selfish decision to play in a game that many have argued has reached its course and should be discontinued... Actually, I'd like to look at the specifics of compensation for Graham for playing in the game... Back to my experience with sports orthopedics; should it play out that he'll need surgery, it will probably be more involved and may affect next season's success as he procrastinated to have the procedure done... Some of us are more informed, and have more experience than you idly dismiss; you should really reflect on the arrogant tone you project on members of this community that their opinions are invalid because they differ from yours... Again, football is not rocket science... |
Re: Jimmy Graham says current plan is no shoulder surgery
Probably a good plan.... he DID dunk after all in the ProBowl!

After the game it was determined that R-E-S-T was all that was required. Not surgery. You implied earlier that not having surgery was a mistake. Once again, how do you know more than Graham and his doctors? Do you even have the slightest clue as to what procedure may need to be done? Please share your "experience with sports orthopedics". |
Re: Jimmy Graham says current plan is no shoulder surgery
Jimmy, Jimmy, Jimmy !!! All that money the Saints paid you and you dunk at the pro bowl. Now I think his injury must be healed up, should be no more excuses for drops, quitting on plays, blocking defenders, and in particular going over the middle. If your well enough to dunk a football over a goal post, do the rest or is it all show!! Earn that high dollar contract you got last year because you aint' earned that big money contract with your abilities last season. Be more like Gronk if you can.

Re: Jimmy Graham says current plan is no shoulder surgery
He may still do a little clean up surgery when he gets back into action in the spring. I just hope it doesn't drag on into TC. It would be good to have everyone available throughout TC for a change. We certainly need everyone on the same page and begin building cohesiveness early on.
I trust in Payton to get this back on track, however TC needs to be less powder puff and more like boot camp. OTA's need to have full attendance.:poke: |

No Wouldn't know, mate I thought about and had an OPINION Not bloody likely. I don't do Holiday Inn Express. What is there to like? Why should is there is a neeed at the Holiday Inn Express? Did his medics stay there? I write this on a forum where opinions are accepted. Not all I state is based on facts, expertise, etc etc. Enjoy your day, Sir. That is an expression of platitude. It is not based on any facts I have of you or staying at Holiday Inn Express or wherever you were or will be. |

As I mentioned before, surgery is ALWAYS the very last resort. One can fully recover from a wide range of injuries through rest followed by physical therapy. |
