New Orleans Saints sign QB Luke McCown to contract for 2015
Backup quarterback Luke McCown will return to the New Orleans Saints for a third season, setting up another clash in training camp for the No. 2 spot behind Drew Brees.
McCown, who would have been an unrestricted free agent in March, signed a one-year deal worth $970,000, the league minimum for a player with 10 years of service time, according to NFLPA records.
