this is a discussion within the Saints Community Forum; I vote for getting a high profile QB as high in the draft as possible, or via trade/free agency, to put some pressure on Brooks to sh*t or get off the pot. How much longer are they gonna put up ...

Saints should draft RB in 1st round!
I vote for getting a high profile QB as high in the draft as possible, or via trade/free agency, to put some pressure on Brooks to sh*t or get off the pot. How much longer are they gonna put up with his inconsistant BS?

Saints should draft RB in 1st round!
Welcome to your voice of reason NJSaint. Have we all forgotten Aaron Stecker? Hello. He was a hero after the Rams game now he isn\'t capable or something to the point we would spend a first on a rb?

No disrespect intended, but I think taking a RB in the 1st would be completely impractical. Deuce was banged up this year. He really started hammering the ball late and there was rarely a good hole for him to get through.
O line has become a principal weakness of this team, not RB. We could also use a couple of Defensive players. (Another LB/DB/DT.) As well as a young stud QB....we have no plans for the future right now at that position. I would put RB almost at the bottom of this team\'s needs for improvement. You can\'t run the ball 40 times in the pros. You certainly can\'t do it without a good O line. |

This is true. Maybe draft a Rb, and put Deuce on the Oline blocking if he continues to gain weight??

Really..we just have too many holes on Defense , and not addressing them early will result in another 8-8 or worse...

That also was his 6th run of the first quarter. I agree with Danno that his conditioning needs work, but I blame some of it on the fact that he hated the new offense from day one and didn\'t train as hard, which then makes him unprofessional. So he needs to work on that too. But that run in no way means he COULDN\'t outrun Conwell.

..well, they didn\'t run the ball 40 times with Aaron Stecker in the line-up... what makes you think they\'d run it 40 times with a rookie in the line-up? |
