2015 salary cap ceiling projected at $143 million, ESPN reports
The NFL has notified teams that the 2015 salary cap will be between $140 and $143 million, $1.5 million higher than projected, according to ESPN. The salary cap has soared in the past two years. It was set at $133 million in 2014 and $123 million in 2013. The escalating salary cap is good news for the Saints, whose top-51 cap projection is about $167 million, $24-27 million over the new projected cap. The Saints must be in compliance with the cap by March 10, the start of the new league year. 2015 salary cap ceiling projected at $143 million, ESPN reports | NOLA.com |

What seems like an easy fix to me is just changing the number of guys who can dress each week. There are 6 players each week drawing full paychecks, just to be inactive. Simply letting everyone dress will save on wear and tear down the road, especially in the O-line. |
