..pure QB skills no one is even close to Peyton... ..Vick is a tremendous athlete who happens to get the snaps from center.. |

i really havent seen anything from vick that warrants that spot to me. thats just my opinion. he is a great athlete but he hasnt put up the passing numbers to really be concidered anything more yet. manning has to be concidered the best to me. but your point about brady is true. he is a winner. but if i had to choose a qb right now to start building my team around it would have to be manning. his play fake is like none ive ever seen. he knows the game really well too.

How can you not put Ben in the top 5 young QBs. Granted he makes some mistakes but for a rookie the guy is solid. As for Vick -- sorry -- he cannot keep running like that forever -- the older he gets the less he will run. Therefore -- since we are rating the best young QB we have to rate him on his passing skills and other QB skills. Sorry -- for now if you take away his running he is not a top 5 young QB.

Your top 5 Qb's
1. Peyton Manning
2. Donovan McNabb 3. Tom Brady 4. Daunte Culpepper 5. Brett Favre Vick doesn\'t even make the top 10. This is no NFC South bias against him, but your QB should be able to pass the ball. Seriously, the guy IS overrated. Great runner, check. Great arm, check. Can he read a defense, or will he just take off running?? You tell me. Aaron Brooks is actually far and away a better passer than Vick. And whoever said put \"Big Ben\" in the top five, poooooooolease. You surround anyone with that team, and they\'ll play well. |

Sorry -- I read it wrong -- not everyone else. I thought the thread said young qbs -- not just top qbs. My mistake
