"the LSED board of commissioners made it clear Wednesday that no contracts on any work will be executed until all of the money is in place. The board did, however, approve Trahan's fee of $465,087 for the HD room and also the $512,882 fee for the design of the HD scoreboards. At this point the completion of the HD room is being given top priority. The scoreboards are expected to cost about $5 million."

That would be kinda' cool and I think the stadium upgrades are a joint venture:

We touched on this briefly (publicly funded stadiums) in another thread and while I'm generally not in favor of it, situation dictates and I think it's something for each individual community to decide. I look at what the Benson's do for New Orleans overall and the public contribution they're getting ($5million grant?) and I gotta' figure it's worth it, in this case. :)
