I have read where Loomis/Payton have, to almost a fault, relied too much on LOYALTY in the past. Well, it seems loyalty is out the front door, and it is now time to pay the piper.

They have almost $23mm to cut to get under the salary cap and this is but one of several surprises to come. IMHO. Gone will be Goody, maybe Grubbs, and Evans is on a banana peel! If I were TE Watson, I would be expecting a call from the FO. Colston and Meachem? Ring, ring! The Saints were 7 and 9 last year.

The deal with Drew several years ago is coming back to bite where it hurts. Not saying he is not worth every penny, but stating his deal is not going to be restructured is daunting!
