PT was a great Saint and one of my favorite players. Humble, hard worker, never went down on first contact, played with class, terrific teammate. PT ran the screen better than any player of his era. He was a big part of helping us win a Lombardi Trophy. He will be missed but not forgotten.

No more PT23, don't like the sound of that at all!

I guess they have their reasons but I think they are making a big mistake letting this guy go.

He always had a great attitude on and off the field and he always gave 100% effort for 100% of the time.

I can see this one coming back and biting us in the a**!!!!!

I just hope the FO know what they are doing. :-(

WTF???

I usually give the front office the benefit of doubt 99% of the time.

But release PT? We only save 2 million in cap space.

Yes, but you usually hear about restructures 1st. An outright release this soon looks like its final.

I think we made a big mistake

Remember when it was said we may have cut too much veteran leadership last year, we just lost a whole lot of that again in PT

But watch the waste of space on defense will be back (PRob, Junior, Lofton, White) and this team will be 8-8,7-9 again next year plus Payton lost his balls since he can't seem to push the team or fire his "drinking" buddies
