Thanks JP! I was actually waiting for you to post that so I could see how we look now depth chart wise. One question though... I thought Edebali was more of a Leo edge rusher than strongside LB.

Hagan, clearly this roster is in flux. When have we ever entered a season with 5 RB's, 4 WR's and 2 TE's? Things are very fluid right now. Patience my friend.

Chris, That's your 2015 Saints Hybrid Defense...

When we're in what looks like a 4-3 front, Cam Jordan with hand on the ground lined up real wide, 7+ gap, makes him a LEO (Linebacker/End)...

When we're in what looks like a 3-4 front, Kasim Edebali lines up on the Strong-side Edge standing up, which makes him a SAM by definition...

Expect a subpackage with Jordan, Edebali lined up opposite with Kikaha, Jordan alternately stunting to open unencumbered rush lanes to the passer...

Just don't have many Rickey Jackson types laying around that could do it all (Forgive the slight Cam, Kasim); so we have "situtational subpackages"...

Khalil Mack and the other kid in Denver comes to mind though...

Problem to me with those packages, it becomes a pre-snap tell to what you're going to do unless someone suddenly can perform a task they normally can't execute...

This is what worries me.

2 OC/OG Mike McGlynn and Senio Kelemete? neither impressed me

If Zach and Terron both go down then what? it happened last year. Peat maybe ok at RT during the season but at LT? that worries me and i sure Drew has a concern or two also

so my gut hopes it better be in flux. couple of injuries and Drew is going to get hammered again this year.

Litto shows signs of hope so I will not judge him just yet.

need OT/OG back up big time not 2 OC/OG unless my lack of fear in Litto is unwarranted. Saints pulling a quick one and trying to stash Sean Hickey on the practice squad maybe? Even then an entire off season and the saints to date have upgrade just one player and that was Harris with a first round pick. I am stumped

Something has to be in the works.

My friend, McGlynn got better as the Preseason went on; he's great value in veteran depth...

I'm not sold on Senio either; but, remember, he's not our starter, so...

We can work on that in the offseason...

...or allow one of these younger rookie free agents on the practice squad to acclimate, challenge...

You've got Zach Strief with Andrus Peat under his wing...

You've got an All-Pro Right Guard in Jahri Evans who's stating he's back from injury...

You've got an All-Pro Center in Max Unger now...

You've got a former UDRFA in Tim Lelito who's beat the odds, progressed and earned the starting left guard job at minimal cost in contrast to Ben "Mailing It In" Grubbs who was embarrassingly overpaid...

You've got another breakout candidate in Terron Armstead at Left Tackle who's a good bet to make the ProBowl and possibly overcome the small market slightness become an All-Pro...

It really is turning around...
