Here's what I'm thinking after that dress rehearsal in Baltimore...

Does anyone have Evan Mathis number? Does Loomis want to validate himself as a General Manager?

The Jairus Byrd non-appearance, non-disclosure is the stinking fish in the room that no one wants to face...

Guess we're counting on Nick Toon to finally pan-out...

UPDATE: Tull made his first appearance today and didn't suffer any setbacks with his mending shoulder...Ronald Powell is still out and could put his roster spot in jeopardy...That could allow Parys Haralson or Anthony Spencer a roster spot...Talent is there for Powell, just not the health...

It's not that my way is the right way, I just make the right way my way...

Injuries, Injuries; oh well, next man up!!!

Depending on RG Jahri Evans' performance vs the Pats No. 1's, Evan Mathis may need a call...

Last year was mocking Brandon Coleman as a fourth, fifth round picks, no matter how, he's starting to shine...

If Nick Toon's last name is working against him with the Saints, could you imagine as a Jet?!?

Seantavius Jones seems to be losing in his grip on what was once a confident roster spot...

Orson Charles will make this roster because of one rare, elusive quality - durability...

With a baseline in place, we should see how much the Rookie Linebackers will have improved...

May be our best class of UDRFA with Tyeler Davison, Bobby Richardson and Kaleb Eulls...

Don't see Parys Haralson, 6-0 255, beating Anthony Spencer, 6-3 265, at DE?!?

If Ronald Powell and Ramon Humber don't get out of the training room real soon, well...

Speaking of the trainer's room, it'll be a task for the defensive backs to gel by Week 1?!?

Could Steve Sidwell's defense shutdown Sean Payton's offense?!? Wonder if the two have ever met?!?
saintsfan1976 likes this.

It's not that my way is the right way, I just make the right way my way...

*Notes:

Injuries are really keeping us from seeing what we have on defense with the entire projected starting secondary out, plus Dannell Ellerbe; reserves look good last night...

While the offense clicked with the ones, we still are plowing in the run game like we had expected with Unger's addition...

Thought Kenny Phillips flashed enough that he gets a late roster spot, taken from one of the cornerbacks; not sold Byrd is going to be healthy and in shape for the start of the season...

Like T Terron Armstead and C Max Unger to make the ProBowl, possibly All-Pro - they both look great!

NT Ashaad Mabry and DT Kaleb Eulls both graded equally bad with PFF; Eulls was better in pass rush with Mabry better against the run...

We have some really good talented depth at some positions (i.e. quarterback, safety) that we should have Jeff Ireland aggressively seek out trades rather than outright release these guys...

It's not that my way is the right way, I just make the right way my way...

Re: 2015 New Orleans Saints: Roster Outlook

Two more weeks to see who's healthy and who's not...

Wow, the secondary really needs to toughen up...
