Hindsight is always 20/20; they also signed Darren Sharper in '09, how'd that work out?

If you want to use irrelevant comparisons, I just trumped yours...

8 teams are interested in his services. Maybe we are one of them.

But didn't you just prove my point? If we can go tit for tat, doesn't that mean they strike out as often as they are right? So what you're saying is their guess is as good as mine. Thanks for making my point for me.

Always easier when the person you're disagreeing with chooses to demonstrate how your point is 100% accurate.

Thanks, buddy :)

Your whole "point" is that you already knew that McClain will not be beneficial because you don't like that he is 5.9" Maybe you need to put your magic 8-ball away

that's an oversimplification. People want change that will actually be beneficial. I mean last year striking out with Champ hurt us all year long. I don't think we need to do that again, dude is 5'9

No it isn't solely that, although that plays a big part. It is also because he didn't start on one of the worse backends in the league.

We don't need to take a chance on a num. 2 corner like we did last year. That's my point. We really do need to find someone reliable that can start opposite Lewis.

If he is coming in to play nickel I don't mind it as much, that makes sense, but as a number 2, no thanks.

Don't worry about the #2; my magic 8-ball tells me that SJB will be our #2 this year...

At least I hope so,

LOL, yeah front office didn't want to take that chance, but I'd be happy if he were. It be nice to find a surprise.

I have to disagree with you there. The Falcons' CB corps was by far their best unit on defense, as bad as their overall defense was. Their pass rush, or total lack there of, hobbled any possibility of their CB's showing what they had.

That's possible, only because when you look at things in their entirety, no pass rush = bad backend. So I can't say one way or the other, not positive, but that's possible. They were terrible upfront, minus when they played us lmao
