Re: Curtis Lofton to New Orleans Saints fans: 'I got to play for Who Dat Nation for 3 great years'
I posted this in the Lofton released thread, but it fits far better here:
The Saints got three good years out of him and his contract was structured for an easy release this year. It was an amiable separation it appears. The guy is pure class. My oldest son who coaches Lofton's neighbor's child, was given a signed game jersey by Lofton himself. It is framed on his wall in Metairie. It looks damned good and would go well with all my other Saints collection, but it was given to my son and he would never let me have it. Here it is while I had it to get it framed at the top of my Saints shrine. By the way, I lost a bet with a Seahawks fan and had to take pictures of the hat he sent me. http://i275.photobucket.com/albums/j...pscd5ea1f1.jpg http://i275.photobucket.com/albums/j...ps95bc6cd5.jpg Lofton is pure class all the way. |

He was far and away our best LB. Whenever a RB immediately dropped upon contact, you just knew it was Lofton on the tackle. We're gonna find out if you can just plug guys in to do this like you seem to be able to at RB.
