If he's truly amazing as you say he is, I don't expect us to have any shot at him down the road given that we'll be drafting really late in the first round the next few years.

He's very good-has good accuracy,but two things I noticed: good protection and outstanding receivers. A lot of QB's can look good in that system.

silly i know but would you take Mariota or Winston if they are on the board?
my target would be Connor Cook in 2016 any draft picks that could be obtained this year i would take them in 2016 not this year. load up and make the push for him Mariota at 13? sure he needs to sit and learn and drew would be a great mentor. I would flip him to the eagles in heart beat as long as a high pick in 2016 was involved. If you pulled that off trade down again and keep stock piling for 2016. then see what this freshman develops into. |

You can't really compare the two from that stand point. It's mostly the ability this kid has as a freshman. Just saying he could be someone to keep an eye on over the next couple of years. Especially with Brees' contract not having muh time left.
