Saints sign CB Brandon Browner

Byrd won't have to play so far back now; he doesn't have to worry about White/P-Rob/whoever else tried to start the #2 whiffing on the coverage... Browner and Lewis are both very good pressers

I hope you're right about Byrd. But that still doesn't fix what we saw from vacarro last year. His coverage skills took a dip and his tackling was outright atrocious. If he fixes that then you might be on to something.
