New Orleans fans better get used to pass interference flags. Brandon Browner was whistled for a whopping 19 penalties in 2014 (including the playoffs), and that's after missing the first six games of the season!

Having said that, this is a fairly decent addition. The Saints were desperate for cornerback help, and Browner was the fourth-best-available player at his position as of his signing. Browner is better than what the Saints already had at corner across from Keenan Lewis, so this is definitely an upgrade. Browner will turn 31 this summer, but the Saints aren't throwing a ton of money his way. This price seems about right for him.

So far we got our CB in FA, our stud C in a trade, got rid of Puddin Graham. Now if we get a stud NT, ILB, and a G in the draft, I will know without a shadow of doubt Payton has read all my post and has come to his sinces. I'm lovin' this. Don't be suprized on draft day a starter on our team gets traded for high picks. We may own this years draft it is full of needs and wants for the Saints. Only suprize was Bunkley staying.

He's a great stop gap and a solid #2 corner. We have young guns waiting to step in if needed and now have time to get seasoned.

He's certainly not the long term answer, but he's an upgrade to what we have.

As Rugster said, he's a solid stopgap, but we certainly need more talent at CB.

Definitely can't stop at signing Browner. We don't want to end up in the same situation as last year signing Champ and hoping that solves it. Another veteran or two would be nice. God forbid Browner got hurt and we had to rely on Dixon, SJB or Breaux.

The thing I love most is that I've read he's not just your normal locker room leader, he freaking owns the locker room and will *****-slap the hell out of anyone that steps out of line.

I was never a huge "locker-room culture" guy until after the disaster we called the 2014 season.

Dude, the thing ESPN has not considered is that we lacked leaders, this guy has been to two straight super bowls, correct? He knows what it takes to win. Go look what he said to Byrd on twitter. That is a large part of why this man is here.

It is not measurable, it is akin to reputation for a business. You can't really value it, but you know a good reputation is invaluable.

Yeah, but he was on ped's (physical enhancing drugs) at one point and chances are it was at this point. Notice the third guy look like a OL or DT.
