Re: Josh Hill And Benjamin Watson
I would not be surprised to see the Saints go the JG-route again either drafting or getting a FA with a lot of athletic ability but little football experience.

Re: Josh Hill And Benjamin Watson
I could easily see Hill have 65 catches, 863yds and 8TDs and Watson about half of that.

Re: Josh Hill And Benjamin Watson
We were wayyyyyyyyyy to predictable last season.
I could look at the personnel and know what we were about to do. I didn't even study film for a week prior to Sunday. Maybe a bunch of new faces will help. If Ingram can keep it up, that wouldn't hurt either. Hill, Watson or some new hybrid that wows everybody, if we can get 5-10 catches out of the TE group each week, I would be happy. Drew is going to throw the ball forty times, unless the balance talk (Ingram) becomes a reality. Blocking, sealing the edge and converting a few 3rd and 7's will be the challenge. Hill and Watson have shown good hands when targeted. The additional snaps plus an up and coming youngster will only enhance their performances. |

Re: Josh Hill And Benjamin Watson
Watson is a legit NFL TE. The rookie class of TE coming in is said to be very weak with possibly none taken on day 1. Many experts top TE Maxx Williams, who is 6'4 250 and a good blocker disappointed with a 4.78 40. but he is a good route runner and has soft hands. I doubt Jason Witten is any faster than that. If this Williams guy is really a great blocker, which I believe he is, as Minnessota ran the ball most of the time, he would be a oood pickup because he definitely seems to have great hands.
