Haven't heard it? What cave are you guys in? It's all over the place.

The one I read that makes the most sense to me is that the Saints fielded offers for everyone on the roster. I don't see Drew going anywhere but opening up the roster to offers accomplishes a few things. It puts everyone on notice. It establishes as close as possible what the market value is for everyone on the roster including Drew. What would it have taken to pry Drew away? Probably nothing short of a Herschel Walker type scenario and not even sure that would have done it.
