Here\'s some decent info on Robiskie...

Robiskie began the 2000 season as passing game coordinator in Washington and helped the Redskins rank fifth in the NFC in total offense (337.3 yards per game) and passing (228.0 yards per game). He helped running back Stephen Davis total 1,318 yards and 11 touchdowns on 332 attempts, including five 100-yard outings.

I\'ve never heard of a passing game coordinator, but I\'m wondering how that position gets credit for the running backs statistics...

I will say that the fact that Robiskie was in so many playoff appearances is an advantage. A winning attitude is something that mignt be needed here.

sorry -- not intrested in him. There have to be other choices. Even picking a college coach would be better. I want someone who is willing to open up the offense. Someone with fresh ideas that can use the talent we have on offense. I want someone who will get us to score in the 1st quarter

TR seems like a heck of a nice guy, but I\'m not sure he\'s the answer. I\'d rather have McCarthy, especially faced with the possibility of AB having to learn a new offense ... :ohnoes:

And I don\'t even want to HEAR about Paul Hackett now that the J-E-T-S (SUCK, SUCK, SUCK) have shown him the door. It\'s bound to come up, but NO NO NO!!!

And incidentally, NFL.com reports that the J-E-T-S are interested in McCarthy...

Robisky wouldnt surprise me, but it wouldnt make all that much sense as he isnt a west coast guy, and it would be a completely new system with completely new terminology and I fear Brooks\' learning curve is more a sort of straight line. Translation: Rebuilding Year

I am hearing Mike Sheppard being promoted to the new OC spot from my sources. Sheppard was the OC for Buffalo (2001) and San Diego (1997-1998) as well as the QB coach for Seattle before becoming our QB coach in 2002. Apparently he has a good rapport with our players, and is a west coast style coach who knows the terminology and cant be any worse than McCarthy, whom I never had a problem with his plays, only the predictable manor in which they were called lately.

in 2001 with the Bills they avg a whopping 17 pts per game(on the bills web site)
