Ok, what I heard yesterday on sportstalk about Detroit no longer talking with DT C.J. Mosely about coming back makes a little more sense now ... after losing Suh & Fairley I figured the Lions were looking at running a 1-6-4 or a 1-5-5 type defense next season, . Short term solution to a long term problem, IMO ... kick the can down the road, .

Re: Tyrunn Walker

hustle was not a problem with the guy. that is why i am stumped. clear house i understand but to do it and throw out any guide lines as to what players need to do to stay is crazy. keeping a player like this would have made a statement about what you need to do to be on this team.

i fear the saints have lost focus

He's kinda' an unknown to me & I'll probably spend some time today looking into him more, but it's good to hear about his hustle, . Only a 1yr deal raises some red flags as the Lions will usually sign a guy like this to a longer deal, so something is out of the ordinary here ... might just be the Lions being "the Lions" making their usual marginal decisions, #shrug.

Hey, if he works out half as good as Joique Bell did, I'll be happy, .

He is really good in a rotation. Nothing pretty but brings his all each and every play. The only way I see him leaving is possibly swithing to a 3-4, a little light in that set but perfect size for a 4-3 that you guys run. Good pick up for Detroit in my opinion.
