Ellerbe will be a monster watch. I really liked Stills, he is still growing and has great potential but Ellerbe and a 3rd is a good trade. Every time I get up from night shift Payton and Co. has made things better.

Damn we got more moves than ex-lax!

Good luck Kenny. We'll see if this pans out. Draft is gonna be huge this year.

It's a good haul but I really don't like this move. I see great potential in Stills and Think he is only scratching the Surface of what he can do. I Think he'll go down as one that got away.

Perhaps, but I've seen a couple posts about his flakiness and lack of focus that displeased Drew Brees.

I think these offensive moves are all about what Drew wants and what will give him the best opportunity to play at a high level for a few extra years.

Jeff Duncan said via Twitter

As per a Source close to the Saints, Drew Brees was not happy with either Ben Grubbs or Kenny Stills as the season came to its end, no coincidence that neither are still here.

Has anyone heard anything out of Brees on the Grubbs, Stills and Spiller moves?

We were quick to hear on the Graham trade, but I haven't heard anything on the rest...

Only thing I've read is that Brees wasn't happy with their performance last year.

I say, yes, Brees wanted Jimmy gone. There was something between them last year.

It looked as if Jimmy intentionally didn't make plays on the ball a couple times and just looked at Brees like, take that. Something was going on between them, my brother and I thought, all year and now, bam a trade.

Like what Loomis said about trading an offensive asset (now, instead of getting nothing for him someday) to "fix" the defense. Of course, that implied the extra 1st rounder was to be spent on defense (I hope).
