Worst kept secret - we're moving up in draft
 

No way I see us drafting 9 picks this year.

Two scenarios I see:

1) We package our 1st rounders to move up in the 5-6th pick range for someone, then try to get another 2nd rounder through trading other lower round picks

2) We stay with our 1st rounder and trade up on Seattle's 1st rounder to get closer to the middle of the round

I think we use the new 3rd and our third and 4th to get a late first and keep all of the first just where they are.

I don't think we have a fourth and I don't think that will be enough for a first rounder anyway.

I wonder if they see this draft as a top heavy draft and will try to move up into the top two rounds as much as they can,or do they see a lot of talent in the mid rounds?

I'd rather we get as many good players as we can. Look what happened with Cooks last year. Doing great and then the only pick we had that contributed was gone. We need depth. Hopefully we atke 2 1st rounders and work it from there.

Yea,coach says a lot of things and then does totally opposite:) I can't imagine they're not gonna address the o line in this draft. We need it.

No one would ever do that. Also, we traded our 4th to the Seahags. I could see a 3rd and 2 rd 5's to move into the 2nd.

I would be very happy if we could draft a starter at #13 and then we get to #31 where we draft a starter. That is quite an impact on the first day of the draft. If we wanted to move up in the second round to get another starter. I'm good with that.

In recent drafts we've had a tendency to reach for players and as a result have been short of draft picks for years.........that and Godhell stealing draft picks hasn't helped. :pissed:

Our risks of going after a particular player hasn't paid off besides Cooks. This year we need to pick the BPA at a position of (serious)need with both of our first round picks.

Maybe entertain offers to move back if the talent will be still be available on our draft board at one of our need positions.

I hope we just keep the picks and get what we need, not what we want. Keith Richards and Mick Jagger told me that will work out fine.

I think we move down and get more picks. This draft is really deep between rounds 2-5. I think we take advantage of that.
