Offense Lookin Good
The way I see it we added Spiller, Cooks, Hill and subtracted Graham and Stills. I call that a win win and coach ain't done yet. I think he's gonna go OL, DL and LB in the draft.

Re: Offense Lookin Good
First two picks need to be a OL and WR
|
Re: Offense Lookin Good
I'd expect a draft pick or two to upgrade the offensive side of the ball, if they keep the 1st two picks: 13 = best Olineman or LB at 31 = Oline or LB or WR
anything else doesn't sound good |
Re: Offense Lookin Good
wr from Louisville at 13 and OL at 31 and our 2nd
|
Re: Offense Lookin Good
We better not pick a Wr with the first pick. We need a stud on D..I would be ok with a stud OL also but we didn't make all these moves to get a Wr with the first pick.

Re: Offense Lookin Good
Shouldnt even go offense until our second round pick at least.

None of us predicted the events of the first week in FA.
What makes you think you've got our draft figured out! |
Re: Offense Lookin Good
After trading Stills, if Amari Cooper is available at #13, I'd take him in a heartbeat. LB at #31 and OL in the 2nd round. Let's face it, there's generally not gonna be a rush on the offensive guard position in the 1st round.

Re: Offense Lookin Good
still could use a WR
|
Re: Offense Lookin Good
I agree
Cooks looks a great prospect and could be a Emmanuel Sanders/Wes Welker 100+ catch guy but with much bigger splash plays. Colston will be a great through the middle and red zone target. Outside of them Toon showed some promise last year as did Hill but its a big ask for them to replace around 2000 yards and double digit TDs. |

Re: Offense Lookin Good
if both OT are off the board lets open things up at 13. phil trades up we get 20 and pro bowl LG Evan Mathis plus say a fourth?
LG Evan Mathis is 33 but he did not become a starter till 2009 so pretty low mileage. 2 years left on a pretty nice insensitive ladened contract. 5 and 6 mill |
Re: Offense Lookin Good
Not sure we can afford him and he will be 34 in November

I still laugh when people think we are going to draft on needs. We have drafted BPA and you don't know who that is until the draft reveals itself to us.
