Saints initially offered two wide receivers to Seattle before trading Jimmy Graham
When Saints general manager Mickey Loomis opened up trade discussions with Seahawks general manager John Schneider, he initially brought up the names of two of his wide receivers and said no one was off limits.
According to TheMMQB.com’s Peter King, Schneider said he then broached the topic of Jimmy Graham and eventually the two parties agreed on the trade that sent Graham and a fourth-round pick to Seattle in exchange for center Max Unger and a first-round pick. Schneider was initially weary of surrendering the pick, but he told King his team only has first-round grades on 16 players.
