Re: DE/OLB Anthony Spencer
We are a few years too late on the Spencer sweepstakes. Up in age, injury prone and a step slower. Unfortunately this Cow (current team) has been running on fumes. He could come cheap though ...
I would prefer to stay younger, faster, stronger. |

Re: DE/OLB Anthony Spencer
Hmm he could probably be acquired cheaply and it gives us more room to draft the best player at 13. Also good insurance if no good OLBs at 13

Re: DE/OLB Anthony Spencer
I was waiting to hear this because of the Rob Ryan connection. Could be decent in a rotation if he's healthy and not too expensive. Plus we might miss out on one of the top tier edge rushers in the draft so I'm ok with getting a little insurance with a guy like Spencer.

Re: DE/OLB Anthony Spencer
Depends on salary(mostly guarantees) involved. If its low great move. He can contribute as both pass rush and run stopping.
At worst it means you go into the draft not having to overarch for needs rather than bpa. |

Re: DE/OLB Anthony Spencer
dude had 22 tackles last year and half a sack, and basically sat out the entire 13 season. Probably as much an age issue as his stats having been the result of having Ware on the other side. I'd pass, I don't think he is worth it, but I may be wrong
