O no doubt about it. They cant suspend a coach that wasn't there, however, and 1st, 2nd round pick stripped away would be epic. Top that bad boy with a 1 million dollar fine and you got yourself a 5 star dinner.

High draft pick, this went on for two years that they are aware of, it might even be longer. And you think they would have stopped when they were looking at the SD for the same allegation. Nope, they kept on doing it. Two picks and a fine seems fair. One for each year.

then the players voted down life time health insurance at the last CBA too boot.

it is all a scam to change the rules to increase points resulting in increase popularity all for the money. they did to basketball and baseball so why not football. 3 point line is a joke. as is the reduced the elevation of the mounds.

players do not care they want the money instead.

owners do not care they used it to increase revenue

in the end they all get more money and the game goes down the toilet

Bountygate schmountygate. I have actually played with a couple of guys who was on NFL teams, one DT who played for GW with the Redskins, and they all say the same thing: "It happens on all teams and its mostly bravado".

Not surprised at all. I knew it was all ridiculous when we were getting destroyed for the "Kill the head" audio and this came out:

Herm Edwards is on ESPN criticisizing us when his own damn team had that rhetoric painted on their locker room walls. But their wasn't one peep about that... There's more proof that we didn't do anything wrong than actual proof of any wrongdoing.

I think it should be worse. We lost a 1st and 2nd rounder and our head coach for a year on a still unproven hoax by Roger Goddell, they should lose at least that or better yet a first and second this year and a second next year and loss of their coach regardless of whether or not her was here, it's a TEAM penalty.

If he doesn't come down hard, teams would actually have to weigh if the punishment is worth it. No way he can say 'a 5th for the Falcons, but the rule is now a 2nd'. He need to set precedent.

Where is the PA on this? I would think with all of the preaching about player safety we would know more about their position. A guy who doesn't know the play or can't hear a snap count is in clear danger

We already know Goodell has two sets of standards for punishment. If it's an owner and organization that kisses his butt and he likes it will get swept under the rug. If it's anyone else it will be overblown regardless of proof or evidence.

Head Coach maybe gets a reprieve; but GM defly ought to get suspended for the year, as well as fines and draft picks. That's flat out cheating. Call what we got nailed for right or wrong, we didn't cheat. They did, and they were caught red-handed.
