Re: Does anyone think we'll get a scheduled SNF game this year?
[QUOTE=SaintsBro;648141]
It's 'what have you done for me lately?' The Saints got blown out by Dallas (boring game) and they only beat the Packers barely, because of Rodgers hammie. I'm not saying that's really the case, but that's the way [I]these people think. [Quote] The Saints dominated the Packers, and won 44-23, not exactly what I would call barely beating a team. IIRC, the Saints could have scored more but kicked FGs instead. The Saints in over the Packers had absolutely zero to do with Rodgers pulling his hamstring. |

I hate to say it. We will probably get a Falcons game on prime time...boring!

It won't be a ton. 3 is the max and after back to back below .500 seasons I don't think giants get 2 games. They got 2 games last year scheduled. Here's how I see NBC's process going(including pats opener and Thanksgiving) They will obviously start with Dallas 1.Dallas(3 games) Automatics-Giants and Eagles, the other @Green Bay 2.New England(3 games) Pittsburgh(opener), @Denver, Philadelphia(not much of a choice) 3.Seattle(2 games, not enough appeal for a third) Automatics-SF, the other Arizona. No room for GB or Dallas to play them. 4.Green Bay(3 games) Automatics-Detroit(annual 1-2 division match), others Dallas, @Denver 5.Denver(3 games) Automatic-NE, others GB, @Indianapolis 6.Indianapolis(2 games) Denver, @Pittsburgh(because of last game) 7.Pittsburgh(3 games) Automatic-Baltimore, others @NE and Indianapolis 8.Baltimore(2 games) Automatic-Pittsburgh, the other I think will be SD 9.Arizona(1 game, possibly 2) Seattle, their second could be us or Philadelphia 10.Detroit(1 game, possibly 2) Automatic-GB, their second could be us or Philadelphia 11.Philadelphia(2 games, possibly 3) Automatic-Dallas don't think they will have giants this time because of giants record, the other at NE and one against Arizona/Detroit 12.Cincinatti(1 game) KC. Houston is also a option but another team needs them more. 13.Carolina(7-8 moves them underneath the other playoff teams and those that generate buzz like eagles)(1 game) Houston........there is literally nothing else for them. They may actually not get any SNF game but they won the division. 14.KC(1 game, possibly 2) Cincinatti and if a second Buffalo or SD. 15.SD(1 game, possibly 2) Baltimore and if a second KC. 16.Houston(1 game) Carolina 17.NYG(1 game) Automatic-Dallas That leaves these six games as candidates for two remaining games Arizona@Philadelphia New Orleans@Arizona Detroit@New Orleans Philadelphia@Detroit Buffalo@Kansas City Kansas City/San Diego Phi/Ari cancels out Phi/Det and vice versa that would then leave the left over against us to go against one of Buf/KC and KC/SD. |

They never give us Atl or Car on SNF and Atl is likely getting none since they went below .500 again and do not have the clout NYG or Dallas has. |
Re: Does anyone think we'll get a scheduled SNF game this year?
I forgot about SF its possible they could play Detroit but that one only. They were only getting 2 to begin with the last three years.

Perhaps!

with 46 PT games in the NFL (92 teams), we are still likely to get 3 or 4. |
Re: Does anyone think we'll get a scheduled SNF game this year?
Well of course we will get two ESPN games and TNF is a requirement. NBC is the benchmark for marquee matchups in primetime however. And CBS first eight weeks will take TNF games that feature the popular teams in at least one part of the matchup. But I am scratching my head at how Atlanta and TB got to be on CBS over us and Carolina last year.
