Randy Gregory is completely off our board. No chance they take that dude. I think Payton has been clear on wanting 'character guys' on his team.

I think we double down with another LB (Perryman) or DE Owamagbe Odighizu in the second rd.

Edit: I wouldn't rule out Paul Dawson either.

What about offering the Titans a 5th this year and conditional 2016 pick for Mettenberger. Rumours from media that his agent has said he wants out.

A year or two behind Brees,is he good enough?

Should be sitting behind a beastly line so him being a bit of a statue wouldnt be a major concern

It's a wasted pick then! We don't need to trade for a backup QB. If a QB they like is available when we have to pick (like Petty), then why not taking him. But to waste 5th rounder this year and another pick in 2016 for backing up Brees is nonsens, imo!

Why spend a 2 ir 3rd on a backup. Anyone brought in will be bench riding for at least two years. The point is 'Is Mettenberger good enough to replace brees in that timeframe".

Im not talking a third next year but a 4/5 while spending this years picks at 3 on more needed players in a deep draft from R2-5

I like our options...

At some point I think we do take a flier on Collins. It could pay off bigtime and he could end up playing with a chip on his shoulder with something to prove. I just don't know if we have to pick him up in the second. I think he will drop like a rock and we snag him in third of 4th.

Highly doubt it. They made there pick for the Defense.Its now Time for Sean and Loomis go after more toys for the offense like Always. I've Never see a Team neglect the biggest weakness they have like they do Year after Year.

The same one they have every year. The defense is always last in there mind. Please excuse me but when your 30th in overall defense giving up over 2000 yrd rushing rnked 29th and 4000 yrds passing rnked 24th. 29th in turnover dif. 25th in sacks and your best sack guy due to be suspended. 31st in 3rd down conversion rate

You would think it was time to really focus on that with some fresh young guys but no not us We just bring in old aging guys. Who washed out with other teams examples, Ellerbe, Spencer, and a aging Brandon Browner and Draft a Guy in the first round of the Draft that many Had as a Mid second rounder
