I'm not confident in anyone but Cooks. Colston had some really bad moments last year.

No no no...
- We don't need veteran leadership... we have that already.
- We are trying to get younger not older.
- it would be a waste of time on a player for a year? Speed drops fast for WR's.

Pass, to much $ and there are options already on the team that can produce the same numbers he would for cheaper

I definitely think we need to add a veteran WR to the mix. Cooks is barely more than a rookie still. I'd love to see Colston migrate into Graham's old role. Colston has similar size and is losing a step and in my opinion would fit well into that hybrid non-blocking TE role getting LBer or safety matchups. The problem comes that we have no one opposite Cooks that inspires any confidence. Everyone else is extremely raw and can't be counted on yet to efficiently contribute.

It's time for Toon to step it up in 2015.

100% bring him or the like in: Welker, Lance, Cribbs, Wayne, whomever can give us 40 catches this year.
A lot have said get younger, plan for the future, etc, but there is a lot to be said for getting a proven guy that can give us one good year. Bottom line, you aren't going to get 6 guys out of your draft who can contribute immediately.

I mean, we are not going to sign the next Jerry Rice... unless it's JR jr. Redskins waive Jerry Rice Jr., part with 12 others to make room for draft picks - The Washington Post

Dude can run period. Catches deep balls. Anyone could use this guy. What does he cost?

Jones is a good slot receiver but key drops have dogged him since he was with GB.

But looking at our WRs, James is one of the better options as 3/4 WR we could go after

Drew having a 6'1" slot WR might take some time to get use too.

There is one factor about Colston. We have obviously brought in line help for Drew and that should give him more time. Colston and Drew have synced with timing for a few years and last year and the year before Drew was rushed, so when a receiver is accustomed to a ball being somewhere at a certain time and Drew is hurried that means both of their timing is off.

Cooks and Colston are the only proven WRs we have.

Toon? Inconsistent. Healthy scratches. He has the most to prove IMO.

Morgan? History is the best indicator of the future....

Jones, Coleman, Saunders.... Camp will be telling.

The X factors here are Spiller and Josh Hill.
