My mancrush on the Clemson duo of drafting Vic Beasley/Stephone Anthony reached critical mass this offseason...

Thank goodness we took one of them; but my concern was Beasley going to the Falcons, and that's exactly what happened...

But Sean Mickey Ireland played a smart card and took Peat to offset that selection...

Am feeling better about taking Peat, just want to see him on the field, and at Left Tackle where he could be better than Armstead...

And it'd allow the more athletic Armstead to move to right tackle and really open up the run/screen game, which we are well-suited for, now...

This should add another chapter to the Atlanta v New Orleans rivalry

I wouldn't underestimate Peat getting to the field in a prompt fashion...

Peat was a good selection following the Beasley pick to the Failcons. He will probably be allowed to develop a little before the Saints throw him on the front lines. There are some very good things ahead for him at LT or RT. I like the idea of Armsteads athleticism at RT though. Our screen game could be scary good.

if peat don't break starting line up after 4 preseason games I would almost consider project fail. 13th pick has to break into line up. and could someone explain to me how did the clowns get to pick in front of saints?

They finished at 6-10 and we finished 7-9. Them sweeping us doesnt matter unless we were tied.
