Has Graham spoken out since trade?

this is a discussion within the Saints Community Forum; Just wondering. I'm not opposed to the trade. I thought he was too inconsistant and injury prone to invest the money they put in for his contract. That being said I still get the feeling there was more to it ...

Has Graham spoken out since trade?

Just wondering. I'm not opposed to the trade. I thought he was too inconsistant and injury prone to invest the money they put in for his contract. That being said I still get the feeling there was more to it than a football and dollars and cents move. We really did shave off THAT much from the cap. Unger was understandable but there were also other ways to beef up our line.

I got the feeling that there may have been some personality/locker room issues. Bree's went stretches towards the end last year where he wouldn't even look Jimmys way. He was even asked if he was mad at Jimmy by a reporter after a game. Then again he had been injured and may have just been out to draw coverage.

I think he is going to have problems against the defenses in that division. They are pretty tough and physical. I don't see him playing very long there at a high level.

Re: Has Graham spoken out since trade?

I don't think he's spoken out or done much interviewing, maybe one or two small ones. You have to remember, he's no longer the big dog anymore. He's not really anybody important on the Seahawks roster, at least not yet. PLUS keep in mind, the team that he's joining, they just had a COLOSSAL meltdown at the one yard line, on the biggest stage imaginable, on the next-to-last play of the game....ending with a fist-fight and the first player ejection in all of Super Bowl history. The way their season ended, the whole team and its fan base are in complete disarray and turmoil right now -- there are plenty of other things on the Seahawks fans' minds besides what Jimmy Graham thinks about anything.

Wish him luck.

I think he'll do well not being the big dog for a change...

Theres only two teams they face in their division with a physical defense.

SF has been destroyed, Zona and the Rams are pretty physical, but I wouldn't say they're the 2000 Ravens.

Re: Has Graham spoken out since trade?

In one interview, he stated he was really distraught about the trade because he thought he'd been sent to Oakland and was relieved to learn it was Seattle...

Re: Has Graham spoken out since trade?

The last I heard was:

"I found out I had been traded to the best team in football."

Enough said.
