He shouldn't be cut. Too many self righteous bs going on in this forum. If you down for getting your arse kick or even worse cause your morals keep you from defending yourself, kuddos to you. When you're in a brawl their is no rules. That female could of easily walked away, instead she chose to get involved. Now with that said I am not trying to say men should beat women, I am saying don't be stupid and let a woman distract you in a brawl that could cause you to be injured or killed if you have to swing a belt profusely to protect yourself, let the leather sting some hide whoever it may be

Moral obligations and gender consideration all aside for a moment... the problem that remains...and this is a big one... is that as a member of a professional football team you are obligated to keep your stupid ass as far away from trouble as humanly possible, whether it's people or places or both. And if it follows you then you run your stupid ass the other way. Now obviously there may be times where you find yourself in a life threatening situation and you have to defend yourself, this is understandable. Was that the case here? I feel pretty safe in assuming it was not. Looks more like a case of poor decision making. Which you aren't really allowed the luxury of as a professional athlete, especially not anymore.

I can kinda' agree with both of the previous posts ... if he gets cut I think it's more because (as previously pointed out) it's an opportunity for the organization to exercise a morality clause & shed some contract money. As for hitting women, I think we all agree that's generally frowned upon, but I have seen some women put some pretty nasty arse-whippin's on a dude that wouldn't fight back and in this situation, I'm not going to necessarily fault JG for defending himself. You find yourself in a WWF Smackdown like that, you stay on your feet, keep your head up, swing away and don't let anyone come near,. He definitely shouldn't of come back in & I do hold him responsible for that.

^^^ This ^^^, :) ... I try to keep this stuff in perspective and think of the 98% or so of professional football players (mostly the offensive lineman ... exception: Incognito,) who generally abide by this and do stay out of trouble ... gotta' figure there's approx. 1856 (53 man roster + 5 man practice squad) x 32 teams) players in the NFL and it's really a small percentage that are continually involved in crap like this ... at least, that's what I'm trying to focus on, :).

Galette lawyer laughs off situation

JG lawyers says this has all been one misunderstanding...

What was seen was an attempted 're-boot' or a 're-mix' to a more rap-style version of Devo's 'Whip It'; as most rap mixes today are as incapable as Hollywood in coming up with original material, what we were witnessing was a poorly executed video re-boot shoot of this 80's classic...

I'm tired of seeing his name in the news for the wrong reasons. I understand what a fight is. I also understand a person "protecting" themselves.

Here's my issue: Galette is making headlines on a pretty consistent basis right now. Negative headlines. He's a got a big mouth, an attitude problem and he either gets into trouble regularly or hangs out with people who do. When he wouldn't STFU during the season and was talking about how much better the current players were compared to former players I gave him a pass. Maybe he's just stupid. He got into a domestic situation that I tend to believe the female on. That got swepted under the rug. Maybe that's an isolated incident. Now this.

Look, I know this is in the past. But guys that get into trouble usually stay in trouble. He'll do something else. It's an attitude problem. It's lack of accountability.

It's not my call but I'd be looking at options if I was Loomis.

I'm thinking that the F*** Sean video from a few weeks ago may have played a part in the Saints sending this new video in.

Maybe Sean told Mickey "I don't want this clown on my team anymore, make it happen" and Mickey is pulling out all the stops.

If he's suspended I'm not sure how it effects our cap or how much guaranteed money he's gonna get, but maybe this is how you get rid of him without taking a huge cap hit, or at least minimizing it.

I agree he made poor choices but before looking to cut him they should see if they're any other resolutions for his conduct I must admit this the 1st I heard about the F Sean, even if it was him it was someone apart his entourage. I am more disappointed in him on this account than the brawl, that kind of attitude must be corrected or I sadly agree he must go by any cost.

I understand now why we wanted to IR Galette now and why he was fighting it so much.

Ok, so there is NO WAY to prove he was the one saying F*** Sean in the video I saw. He could of been part of his entourage.

I'm with nola swammi on all of his comments.
