If Josh Hill can feel the increased glare of the spotlight turned on him this offseason, the lanky tight end hasn’t offered any hints.

A typically understated player in interview sessions, Hill has mostly been quiet this summer, comfortable in the Saints offense and confident in the decision-makers in charge of designing his role.

No matter how much the roster might have changed this offseason, Hill is preparing for his third season with the same approach that marked his first two.

“I don’t see it different than any other year,” Hill said. “I’m just trying to do what they ask me to do, understand my role on the team and just do whatever I can do.”

Drew will have to do what he does best. spread the ball around. who will step up and click with Drew and how long that will take is key to this season IMO.

Hagan you're right. And we all know Payton loves to create a mismatch...

IMO this seasons roster creates more mismatches than any of the previous 3-4 years.

I'm expecting Hill to post similar numbers to people like Shockey or David Thomas did for us, but with more redzone TD's.

Shockey was a warrior. I'll be extremely happy if Hill plays more like Shockey than JG.

Hill and Watson will be more effective than Graham anyway. They will get there chances as drew checks down. Graham was too primary and therefore the offense got predictable.

In games where Jimmy was targeted 10 or more times, we often lost. Getting away from the that pigeon hole is going to be a lot of work but we likely will be much better off.

Josh Hill looks really stiff to me. I would like to see him stretch and get more flexibility.

The BIGGGEST difference we'll see will be in Drew Brees...

We're going to see more games like the Pittsburgh game where we jumped out on them in their house...

Teams won't be able to predict Drew's usual progression which started with Graham, then Colston...

He's going to spread that ball all over the place like a MG42 in a newly remade pillbox...

Brees with his new and rediscovered targets will spread it all over the field...

Send Josh Hill some yoga pants as this young lady demonstrates their flexibility...
