Re: Saints Training Camp
Little early for that ya think?
I did hear Deke and them talking about him and they didn't sound very impressed at all. Would not surprise me though. The Saints have been pretty awful with their first round picks. Cam Jordon being an exception. |

Re: Saints Training Camp
Of course it's WAY too early for such talk. But, clearly he hasn't impressed and he wouldn't the first round 1 selection to prove unworthy of the pick.

Re: Saints Training Camp
He's a young man, 21. Bust already? Bones don't even completely ossify until the age of 25. Super harsh whoever is throwing in the towel already. Struggling is more like it.

Re: Saints Training Camp
That's sitting squarely on the coach's shoulders if he's already a bust.
Not really buying his bustedness at this point however. Who gave children access to those microphones anyway? |

Re: Saints Training Camp
I would expect a small degree of a learning curve. After all he is moving from LT to RT (or vice versa). I'm sure a million and one things are going on in his head but Peat is a smart & intelligent guy. He may need just a little bit more time to "adjust to the game" and speed of the NFL.
We have good solid interior line coaches who will no doubt "coach him up". I'll reserve judgement until we are at the conclusion of training camp. Patience... Trust and believe . |

Re: Saints Training Camp
Peat is having some growing pains.......so is Kikaha. They are rookies and we can have too many expectations. Give them time. They will be fine.
