I think Randy gave Brooks that contract cause A) he cried for it and held out, and B) this town is so starved for a winner it was good PR to lock up the guy who gets credit for quarterbacking the team in it\'s first playoff win. If you wanna dispute the fact this team was 7-4 and already headed for the playoffs before anyone knew what an Aaron Brooks was, go ahead. I don\'t discount the contributions of others just to build my guy up. AB DID NOT BEAT ANYONE OUT OF A STARTING JOB. BLAKE GOT HURT. If you don\'t recall that, well I have to call into question a few of your other recollections from the past. Who cares what Blake did is exactly the mantra that keeps AB here and thinking he is great. No wonder he has such an ego if he hears that from a few spots. Who cares about Blake? I care.

What did Blake do after he left?

Nothing!! Played terribly. Looked like a fish out of water.

Who did he play for after us? The Ravens? Yeah their offense is better than ours. Never. The Cards? Oh my god, give me a break. Send your boy AB there and he woulda looked like a bigger chump. The Ravens O turned a halfway decent Elvis Grbac into a retiree. Come on Gumbo. Let\'s just end this one okay?
