my FA wish list
QB - Drew Brees
RB - Ron Dayne or Correll Buckhalter WR - Plaxico Burress TE - Anthony Becht OT - Diem and Womack (or Jones) OG - Andruzzi C - None DT - Seth Payne or Luther Ellis (maybe Corey Simon) DE - None LB - Ed Hartwell, Kendrell Bell, and Will Witherspoon (maybe Hannibal Navies or Wali Rainer too) CB - Fred Smoot or Aaron Beasely... or Deion Sanders (ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha... jk) FS - None SS - None. The year\'s FA is SO freakin\' deep in LB. Let\'s get two! three! or even four of \'em! Damn it. |

good point--with lb as deep as it is..we could look elsewhere in the draft (which is also deep at linebacker).

If we can get two of these studs, I say draft that Davis kid (the safety) in the first round. Maybe an OT - if he could start right away at RT (or G - many G\'s in the NFL were T\'s in College).
Actually, I haven\'t really considered the contingency, since I suspect we won\'t get a stud LB in FA - but WE DARNED WELL SHOULD! With so many of them, there really is no excuse. |

jkool, me and you think exactly alike.... i\'ve been campaigning for thomas davis in the 1st, or OT if he\'s gone... but that is only if we can get 2 LB\'s via FA... if not then either d. johnson (probably won\'t be there) or c. crowder become possibilties with that pick...

chRxis,
I can\'t say for sure, but it may be you who made me consider this position in the first place. |

I only disagree with two minor things. (K) Feely - I think Carney\'s still good for a few more years. (KR) Rossum - I think we have several players who can excel at KR. Michael Lewis (of course) Stecker, and Henderson and Stallworth. But the if we landed one of every position you listed I\'d be so frickin happy my optimism would become offensive to all. |

This is the most Realistic Dt pick up, in my opinion, With Youngs work etic and Pease coaching him. I tink He would be a Monster, and maybe even inspire Sullivan.. Do you guys remember watching any Vike Packers Games in the last couple of years??? Hovan is a hell of a pass rusher!!!!!! good call MeisterS |

Dano, I agree with your assesment, good Free Agent pick ups, Like to keep Carney. I think we need to take a strong legged kicker late in the Draft and develope him. As far as Returners........ Man we got a Pile and, Have Yet to see speedster Henderson in action!!!!!!!!!!
