this is a discussion within the Saints Community Forum; Um!!! What happen to Toon? I heard he was solid for the 3rd wr, now I am curious if he going the make the roster after hearing so much about Morgan, Snead and now coleman...

Toon will get a shot before it's said and done. Coleman is just another camp story who's never produced an NFL catch. I've seem Toon catch a ball in a game and break tackles for good YAC yardage. Several times.

Last year he looked good at times and not so good at times. I thought just one more year in our system was all he'd need to take another step or two forward. But it looks like he's actually taken a step backwards. With Snead and Coleman catching everything in their vicinity, and Joe Morgan looking better than he ever has. I think Toon's a goner. Even Seantavious Jones, who has been up and down, has been more consistent than Toon. |
