Having spent most of last season on the practice squad and never playing in a regular season game, the 6-foot-6 Coleman is more than 9,000 yards receiving away from approaching what the 6-4 Colston has done. Yet, even coach Sean Payton sees merit in comparing the way Coleman has looked in this year's camp to the way Colston looked as a rookie during 2006 training camp.

Re: Tall target Coleman emerging in Saints' receiving corps
Man it'd be great to see him become a weapon on this offense. Coleman, Cooks and Colston. 3 Cs.

Toon will get a shot before it's said and done. Coleman is just another camp story who's never produced an NFL catch. I've seem Toon catch a ball in a game and break tackles for good YAC yardage. Several times.

Re: Tall target Coleman emerging in Saints' receiving corps
Josh Morgan has been great this offseason too. I don't think there's any guarantee whatsoever that Toon makes the team. Put it this way, I've heard way more praise of Josh Morgan, Joe Morgan and Willie Snead than I have of Toon.
Matter of fact, I'm starting to think we keep the 3 C's, Josh Morgan and Willie Snead. |
