Saints trading Saunders to Pats for future pick

Per NOLA at 8:04

The Saints are trading receiver/returner Jalen Saunders to the New England Patriots for a future draft pick, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter. Schefter said the draft pick is "conditional," which means it could depend on Saunders' performance in 2015.

Do what you have to do but man, all he did was make plays. Good point, at least we got something out of it. Probably going to work out better for him long term going to a good team, not that we are not but come on...who would not want to play for them.

He was not going to make the team as a wr and he was made obsolete by murphy's play in the return game. Even if it's a 7th it's better than nothing.

I'm all for keeping Murphy instead, but didn't Saunders do a better job returning?

I think Saunders were a better pure returner but he would never be better than the 7th WR on the team. Murphy might be the 4th RB which we usually use a lot more.

Per Rapoport, the deal is for a future conditional seventh-round pick.

7th round pick if he meets the conditions - or starting at a 7th rounder, that can escalate? Though I think I already know the answer.
